Fast General Contracting completed the interior build-out of a new Supercuts salon in the WinCo/JTE Retail Center in McKinney, Texas, transforming an unfinished retail suite into a fully equipped, code-compliant hair salon.
The 1,296-square-foot project included metal-stud-framed drywall partitions, fire-retardant fixture backing, a suspended ceiling, painting, interior doors, salon-equipment installation, and coordinated electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-alarm, and fire-suppression systems. Plumbing work supported three shampoo bowls, a restroom, laundry connections, a mop sink, and a 50-gallon water heater, while the mechanical scope included a new six-ton HVAC system.
Fast managed construction, inspections, and trade coordination through the issuance of the certificate of occupancy, working from the City of McKinney-approved documents and integrating owner-furnished salon fixtures, cabinetry, cutting stations and lighting into the completed space.
