Fast General Contracting delivered the ground-up design and construction of a new accessory building for the City of Lucas Fire and Rescue, expanding the department’s maintenance, storage, and operational capacity.
The approximately 3,600-square-foot steel building includes three maintenance bays, conditioned storage, and a fire-riser and training room. Fast coordinated the foundation and slab, site grading and concrete aprons, metal building shell, overhead doors and security grilles, insulation, electrical and lighting systems, HVAC, floor drains, and plumbing provisions for a future restroom.
From site preparation through the installation of the final building systems, Fast managed the design-build coordination and construction required to deliver a durable municipal support facility for fire and rescue operations.
