Fast General Contracting delivered a critical infrastructure project for Tarrant County Courts at three strategic locations – Fort Worth, Hurst & Arlington. These facilities were transformed into fully integrated Emergency Crisis Hubs designed to remain operational and support government services during any type of crisis, weather emergency, or disaster.
Each hub was built to operate independently of the public grid, featuring advanced electrical systems that bypass the normal utility supply and run directly from dedicated generators. The facilities are equipped with an independent satellite system that automatically switches from public networks to a secure, direct-to-satellite connection for continuous secured communication between governmental agencies across the nation.
The project included complete upgrades to electrical, networking and technology infrastructure, including new paneling, power distribution, structured cabling and data systems. Drop hubs were installed throughout the ceiling grid to allow seamless relocation of personnel and equipment from multiple departments and agencies.
These Emergency Crisis Hubs are designed to support large-scale operations, including computer systems, communications, data storage, and coordination centers to ensure Tarrant County and its cities can continue serving the community when normal systems go down.
